Swedesburg hosted its annual Midsummer Celebration Tuesday night. The celebration is modeled after a similar Misommer celebration in Sweden, which marks the longest day of the year. This year's featured family was that of August and Maria Anderson. Anderson descendants are shown leading the majstang procession. Swedesburg?s event is sponsored by the Swedish Heritage Society.
