Water surges from a downspout Wednesday during one of the heavier bursts of rain. Wednesday saw steady rain, sometimes a drizzle, sometimes heavier. Mt. Pleasant received nearly one-and-one-half inches of rain. Several thunderstorms were included in the rain with lightning striking McDonald?s, see photo on page 8, and knocking out the computer system.
