There weren?t many empty seats at Wednesday night?s candidate debate at Iowa Wesleyan College. In fact, all of the empty seats in the room are pictured and a number of onlookers were standing. Around 150 residents attended the event, sponsored by The Mt. Pleasant News and Iowa Wesleyan College to hear the state Senate, county supervisor and county sheriff candidates speak.
