There was not good news on the unemployment front for Henry County in June.County unemployment shot upward by .7 percent to 7.6 percent during the month, according to state figures released today by Iowa Workforce Development. At about 4:30 a.m. today, July 21, Henry County Jail inmate Jessica Jean Muhs, 22, Mt. Pleasant, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.At the time of the offense, Muhs had been arrested by the Mt. Pleasant Police Department for public intoxication and was being booked for that charge.
