A pickup/deer accident June 6 in the 1100 grid of Salem Road totaled the pickup.According to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office accident report, Nicholas Bethurem, 30, Mt. Pleasant, was westbound in his 1992 Toyota pickup when it struck a deer that had run into the vehicle?s path from the south ditch.Bethurem was not injured, but his vehicle appeared to be a total loss.
