Mary Swander, Iowa?s Poet Laureate from Ames, recently visited the Iowa Wesleyan College campus. Swander spent a couple of days as guest lecturer and also judges IWC?s first writing festival: Word Up, Wesleyan! The festival was organized by IWC English instructor Dr. Maryellen Potts.
