Wayland photographer Tasha Mae Crile built her business where she grew up, but her work reaches wherever clients want their lives documented. She photographs seniors, couples, and families across Jefferson, Henry, and Washington counties — and beyond when a client needs it — balancing a home base in rural Iowa with a portfolio that keeps expanding.

The City of Winfield and the Winfield-Mt. Union Community School District have launched a new partnership to aimed at strengthening and growing community by identifying opportunities that connect the schools, local businesses and residents.

We are ready to begin work on the inside of the building. Unfortunately, we need to raise $200,000 to completely remodel the inside with all new wiring, plumbing, and HVAC. This would include adding new display areas, a handicapped accessible restroom, office space, and storage. Our goal for completing the inside renovations is August 2026.

As part of National Manufacturing Month, the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce has organized multiple visits to different manufacturing leaders throughout Henry County for members and students.
