First legislative breakfast Jan. 16

The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce will host the first of three legislative breakfasts of the year from 7:30-9 a.m. Jan. 16 at Best Western Fairfield Inn.

Representative Curt Hanson, Representative Dave Heaton, Senator Mark Chelgren and Senator Rich Taylor have all been invited and will brief members, students and guests on hot issues and bills coming before the 2016 General Assembly session. The floor will also be opened up for a question and answer period following their remarks.

High school students from Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment and Fairfield High School are invited to join with a corporate sponsor.
