Florence Balderson

Florence Balderson, 101, of Keosauqua, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua. 

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Highland Cemetery in Richland. 

Family visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. 

Memorials to Keosauqua United Methodist Church or the Keosauqua Public Library children?s department may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 4915 Country Club Blvd., Des Moines 50312.

Mrs. Balderson was born Oct. 13, 1908, in Clarksville, the daughter of Arthur J. and Addie Wilson Merrick. She married George R. ?Turk? Balderson June 21, 1933, in Wapello. He died in 1967.
