Roger Brent Hospers

Roger Brent Hospers, 68, died December 21, 2010 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

He was born March 3, 1942 in Iowa City to Roger and Irene Shirlaw Hospers. He graduated from City High School in Iowa City. He attended college at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

Brent married Colee Coop on December 21, 1963 at the Antioch Church, north of Fairfield.

The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Packwood Christian Church in Packwood with Pastor Frosty Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Packwood Christian Church.

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Packwood Christian Church.
