Van Buren runs at MEPO Tuesday
MEDIAPOLIS ? The Van Buren boys? track team ended up fourth of seven teams at the Mediapolis Invitational Tuesday night.
Central Lee won the meet with the host Bulldogs coming in second.
Ben Moews, Zach Pilcher, Spencer Watson and Brad Goehring teamed up to place second in the 4x800 relay as Goehring and Pilcher also took runner up honors in the open 800 and 1600, respectively.

In the field events, Jordon Hervey placed second in the shot put followed up by another second-place finish by Ryne Smith in the high jump.
The Warriors will run again at Thursday?s co-ed meet at WACO.
Warrior girls run at Keokuk
KEOKUK ? The Van Buren girls? track team came in fourth in Class B of Keosippi Relays Tuesday in Keokuk.
The Warriors were led by the shuttle-hurdle team finishing first in 1:20.41. Third-place finishers included Jordan Billups in the high jump (4? 6?) and Ella Patorniti in the 200-meter dash (31.60).
The 4x800 squad posted a runner-up finish with a time of 12:38.
