123 new COVID-19 cases in Iowa according to IDPH

Iowa has 123 new positive cases of COVID-19 according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.
Monday's new cases bring Iowa's total number of cases up to 1,710.
Additionally, there were two more deaths in the state: an elderly adult in Linn County and an older adult in Muscatine County. The two new deaths on Monday brought up the state's total to 43.
There were also 981 new negative test results on Monday, bringing the state total up to 16,986 negative cases.
Locally, Washington County had eight new positive COVID-19 cases on Monday. Washington County's total is currently at 89. Washington County currently has the seventh-most positive COVID-19 cases in Iowa behind Linn, Johnson, Polk, Scott, Muscatine, and Tama Counties.
Henry County also saw one new positive COVID-19 case on Monday, bringing its total number of positive cases to 20.
Jefferson County saw no new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, keeping its total number of positive cases at 4.
