2-vehicle accident at Cherry and Baker street intersection Saturday

There were no injuries in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of N. Cherry Street and E. Baker Street on Saturday, Nov. 17 around 2 p.m.
Rodrigo Noris, of Mt. Pleasant, was driving a gray Volvo when he pulled into the intersection and hit Adam Martinez, of Illinois, driving a red Honda. Martinez had the right of way.
The Honda was damaged on the passenger side front corner, which is estimated at $5,000. The Volvo had damage to the driver side front corner estimated at $5,000.
Noris was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department responded to the accident and was assisted by Breuer's Towing Service.
