2-vehicle accident, no injuries Saturday

The Mt. Pleasant Police Department responded to a two-vehicle car accident at the intersection of S. Walnut Street and E. Laurel Drive on Saturday, Dec. 8 around 11:31 a.m.
Sally Vickroy, of Mt. Pleasant, was driving a gray 2017 Kia Sorento south and turning east onto Laurel Drive when she took the corner too sharply and struck a snow blade on another vehicle.
The other vehicle was owned and operated by Rovert Smith, of Mt. Pleasant. He was facing west and stopped at the stop sign.
There were no injuries.
There was no damage to Smith's truck, a silver 2007 Chevy Silverado. Damage to the gray Kia was estimated at $3,000.
