25 years of coronations

The Washington County Fair celebrated an anniversary Sunday with the coronation of its 25th member of royalty.

Fourteen of the past winners were on hand to share their favorite memories of the honor of being queen and gave an update on their lives since.

One sentiment that seemd to be shared by all was that the ribbons won in contests fade, but the friendships made are everlasting.

Its possible to take the queen out of the county, but not the county out of the queen.
