3 charged in burglary of Salem business

MT. PLEASANT - Two juveniles and an 18-year-old have been charged with burglary, mischief and theft after a business in Salem was burglarized.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office was notified of the burglary at 9:50 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4.
Following an investigation, Daniel Rice, 18, of Mt. Pleasant, alongside two 16-year-old boys were charged with stealing and damaging items from a business on the 200-block of South Main Street in Salem.
According to a news release from the Henry County Sheriff's Office, the business was entered through a window. Rice and the two juveniles were charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fifth-degree theft.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and the Fairfield Police Department during the investigation.
