4-H?ers present at Iowa State Fair

Nearly 40 Henry County 4-H?ers will have their exhibits and/or presentations at the Iowa State Fair Aug. 13-23.

Following are the placers in the various classes of exhibits, Share the Fun and speaking from the county fair.

Communications presenters

Educational presentations ? Becca Strothman (Five ingredients or less appetizers); Breeana Rynyon (Women?s rights); Hallie Sandeen (eggs)

Representing the county in educational presentations at the state fair are Becca Strothman, Breeana Runyon and Hallie Sandeen.

Extemporaneous speaking ? Becca Strothman.

Working exhibits ? Sarah Wilson and Audrey Hake (Make a Paper Snapper); Becca Strothman (S?more Mix); Jackie Tansey and Jessica Stineman (Stress Balls); Ashlyn McSorley (Card Tricks); Alyssa Striegal and Hannah Newman (Colorful Critters).

Representing the county in working exhibits at the state fair are Sarah Wilson and Audrey Hake, Becca Strothman, Jackie Tansey and Jessica Stineman.

Share the Fun ? New London Lassies and Lads 4-H Club (Jokes and One Liners); Sarah Wilson (?Star Spangled Banner? on alto saxophone); Willow Barton and Kate Schimmelpfenning (Cowgirl Skit).

Advancing to the state fair in Share the Fun was Sarah Wilson.
