40 Days for Life begins
Jefferson County Right to Life is participating in the international campaign called '40 Days for Life,” which seeks to end abortion. According to the organization, 'To mark the beginning of 40 Days for Life, Jefferson County Right to Life sponsored the placing of memorial crosses for the unborn on the lawn of Immanuel Lutheran Church. 40 Days for Life is a 40 day period of prayer, fasting, and community outreach to end abortion. 40 Days began Sept. 25 and ends Nov. 3.”
