4th of July celebration ramps up
The Mt. Pleasant 4th of July Committee is offering a limited number of reserved parking spaces for the community celebration at McMillan Park on July 4th. A $30 donation will reserve one front-row parking space and a picnic table. To reserve a parking spot call 319-383-0255.

The evening?s activities start at 5 p.m., with the Independence Day Parade through McMillan Park, followed by carousel, trolley rides and inflatables. Take a walk through the park and Meet Your Local Heroes as area fire, police and emergency medical personnel gather to greet the public. Music will be provided by DJ Midnight Crystal. Fireworks at dark. There is no charge for the event.
