85 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 identified in Iowa

On Friday morning, the Iowa Department of Public health announced 85 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Iowa. Across the state, there are now 699 positive cases.
Washington County identified seven new cases, bringing its total number of cases to 43. Within the state, Washington County has the fourth highest number of confirmed cases. Jefferson and Henry County both identified one new case each, and have 2 and 6 cases, respectively.
As of Friday morning, Linn County leads the state in number of confirmed cases with 118, followed by Polk County, which has 100 confirmed cases. Currently, 11 deaths have resulted due to coronavirus-related complications. According to the IDPH's website, the state has also had 8,054 negative COVID-19 test results as of April 2.
Iowa now has 699 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state.
