Area residents will be enjoying a taste of spring, according to meteorologists, the next couple of weeks as temperatures are forecasted to be above normal. A number of adults and children were at East Lake Park Monday, taking advantage of the 70-degree weather for some outside activity. Keelyn Franzen, 4, left, and her sister, Kinsley,2, right, daughters of Kim and Evan Franzen, of Mt. Pleasant, were taken to the park by their grandmother, Suzanne Staats, for some time on the playground equipment. The girls received a helping hand from grandma who made sure the swings kept going forward.
