Abundant moisture equals growth
No, flying saucers have not landed in Mt. Pleasant. Abundant rainfall this spring and summer not only has crops looking super, but the moisture, combined with heat and humidity, have made conditions ideal for toadstools. These large specimens were found at the corner of East Mill and North Lincoln streets. The photographer said they appeared to be friendly.
