Acappella is a group of women who sing a unique brand of four-part harmony, unaccompanied.
Based in Mt. Pleasant, the talented group is dedicated to local entertainment, and performs annually at the Midwest Old Settlers and Threshers Reunion.
?These women love to sing - from up tempo classic medleys of the ?50s to sacred ballads,? said group founder Jean Shook. ?We entertain with humor, high energy and professionalism, and describe ourselves as one of the better, cheaper acts.?
The 14-member group formed in 1999. Acapella performs for churches, care facilities, variety shows, service clubs and organizations, private and business parties and reunions.
