Accident claims Mediapolis man
BURLINGTON ? A Mediapolis man was killed in a one-vehicle accident Feb. 1, according to the Des Moines County Sheriff?s Office.
Michael Loyal Butler, 51, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Dan Allen Miller, 46, Mediapolis, according to the press release.
The accident happened at approximately 1 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 61 and Memorial Park Road.

BURLINGTON ? A Mediapolis man was killed in a one-vehicle accident Feb. 1, according to the Des Moines County Sheriff?s Office.
Michael Loyal Butler, 51, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Dan Allen Miller, 46, Mediapolis, according to the press release.
The accident happened at approximately 1 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 61 and Memorial Park Road.
Butler was pronounced dead at the scene and Miller was transferred to an Iowa City hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
