Accident near high school

On Friday, Jan. 11, The Mt. Pleasant Police Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the entrance to the Mt. Pleasant High School on Grand Avenue. It was determined that a 2000 Chevy, reportedly operated by Morgan Fraise, had been attempting to cross Grand Avenue from the high school when she pulled into the path of a 2011 Toyota. The Toyota was southbound and was reportedly operated by Richard Randell. Both vehicles were considered to be total losses and three people were taken by ambulance to the Henry County Health Center for treatment of possible injuries. The Mt. Pleasant Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department, Henry County Health Center Ambulance and Dave?sTowing and Recovery Service.
