Accident on Jefferson Street Friday

Mt. Pleasant Police responded to an accident on the 200 block of N. Jefferson Street on Friday, Feb. 1.
Bethani Metcalf was operating a 2009 Chevy Uplander and backing out of a parking space when she struck a 2013 Dodge Avenger operated by Mary Dupree. Dupree was traveling northbound on Jefferson Street.
There were no injuries. Total damage was estimated at $5,000.
