Accident results in $6,000 damage and minor injuries
An accident July 8 at the intersection of White and Washington streets resulted in an estimated $6,000 in collective damage to a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2007 Dodge car.

An accident July 8 at the intersection of White and Washington streets resulted in an estimated $6,000 in collective damage to a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2007 Dodge car.
The motorcycle was driven by Scotty Armstrong of New London. Armstrong was stopped at the intersection and waiting to make a left turn onto White street when his motorcycle was struck in the rear by the Dodge, driven by Sindy Sue Wear of New London.
Armstrong suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Henry County Health Center where he was treated and released. Wear was cited for failure to stop within an assured, clear distance.
