Adopt-A-Highway
Nine members of Boy Scouts of America Troop 64 and five of their leaders could have done any number of enjoyable outdoor activities Sunday afternoon. They spent at least a couple of hours picking up trash in the ditches on Highway 1 north of Fairfield, instead of pursuing their own activities. Several bags of trash were piled near the Adopt-A-Highway signpost when they finished the job.
