Ainsworth Fire Dept. fundraiser is Sunday

AINSWORTH — The Ainsworth Fire Department will hold a drive-thru only biscuits and gravy breakfast Sunday, March 23 from 8 a.m. to noon at the fire station.
Guests are asked to enter from the west side of the station and exit out the east side. A freewill donation is requested.
Proceeds will go toward the replacement of a roughly 20-year-old fire engine, according to Ainsworth Fire Chief Waylon Schultz, who said a newer model would come in at about $587,000. The department has also submitted a request for a Washington County Riverboat Foundation grant to pay for the vehicle.
