Ainsworth men plan antique tractor event

      Owners of antique tractors are invited to show off their tractors at the fifth annual Ainsworth Annual Great Tractor Ride on Saturday, Aug. 23, in Ainsworth.

      Organizers Bryan Lasek and Paul Tobin have planned a parade, tractor games, a pedal tractor pull and a street dance. The Ainsworth Opera House will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

      Owners may begin unloading their tractors at 10 a.m. in downtown Ainsworth. The parade line-up begins at 1 p.m. The hour-long parade will begin at 1:30 p.m., and will be followed by tractor games. The street dance will take place from 9 p.m. to midnight.
