AirCare called after vehicle rolls

WASHINGTON — A driver was “extricated by mechanical means” after being entrapped in a car that rolled over in rural Washington County Sunday, according to an Officer’s Preliminary Accident Report.

The car left the roadway when the driver lost control shortly before noon, rolled an unknown amount of times and came to a rest upside down around the 1900 block of Dogwood Avenue, according to the report. It said the operator, Jason Milam of Keota, was airlifted to the University of Iowa by AirCare, and that unspecified charges would come from the incident.

“Based upon the totality of the circumstances, a search warrant was executed at the University of Iowa, with multiple charges pending against Milam,” the report said.
