Alicia Pacha swears in as deputy treasurer
As longtime staff members retire from the department, the Washington County Treasurer’s office has picked Alicia Pacha as its next deputy treasurer.
“She transferred in with the understanding that eventually, with the retirement of the two deputies I already had, that some day that would fall on her lap,” County Treasurer Jeff Garrett said. “And now that we’re to that point, she’s done a fantastic job of learning the ropes and she’s ready to take over those responsibilities.”
County supervisors acknowledged the appointment unanimously, and wished her congratulations.
