Amanda Beik is the second MP woman firefighter
In the April 9 News, it was reported that Amanda Beik will become the first Mt. Pleasant firefighter. The report was based on comments made by the council.
However, it has been learned that Waunita Biggs was the first Mt. Pleasant woman firefighter. She was with the department in the 1980s.
