An old-fashioned display
Most of the vehicles participating in the fourth annual Red Flag Horseless Carriage Tour were on display this morning on the Mt. Pleasant square. Participants were encouraged to eat breakfast in downtown Mt. Pleasant before leaving on today?s first leg of the tour. Today?s tour route will be to Geode State Park and a stop at Salem en route back to Mt. Pleasant. There will also be a free showing of ?Eat My Dust? ...

Most of the vehicles participating in the fourth annual Red Flag Horseless Carriage Tour were on display this morning on the Mt. Pleasant square. Participants were encouraged to eat breakfast in downtown Mt. Pleasant before leaving on today?s first leg of the tour. Today?s tour route will be to Geode State Park and a stop at Salem en route back to Mt. Pleasant. There will also be a free showing of ?Eat My Dust? at the Main Street Cinemas in Mt. Pleasant tonight at 7 p.m. Tour participants will be encouraged to bring their cars to the square by 5:30 p.m. today. Highlight of Friday?s route is a visit to the Midwest Rod and Restoration Firm in Wapello.
