Andermann named Salem mayor
The tie that forced the Henry County Supervisors to select the Salem mayor has been decided.
Before beginning the official canvassing process Tuesday morning — after Kelly Andermann and James Tomson both received 40 votes in last weeks Salem mayoral race — the Henry County Board of Supervisors drew Andermann’s name from a hard hat.
The rest of the canvassing process did not reveal any other lingering issues with the election results.
