Anna M. Sanchez, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Friday, May 5, 2017, at Great River Hospice House, in West Burlington.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., on Monday, May 8, 2017, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Mike Kelley officiating. Anna M. Sanchez, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Friday, May 5, 2017, at Great River Hospice House, in West Burlington.

Sanchez was born on Nov. 15, 1949, in Far Rockaway, N.Y., the daughter of Ferdinand and Shirley Ackerman Tudda. She graduated from Lawrence High School, in Cedarhurst, N.Y. On May 1, 1976, she married Roberto Antonio Sanchez, in Copiague, N.Y.
For much of her career, she was employed by the United States Postal Service as a clerk, both in Hewlett, N.Y., and Ft. Madison. After 25 years of service, she retired on Dec. 31, 2008.
She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Springfield, N.Y., Full Gospel Church, of Oceanside, N.Y., Full Gospel Church of Island Park, N.Y., and First Assembly of God Church, in Mt. Pleasant.
She enjoyed traveling to visit family, volunteering at the Fellowship Cup, playing Canasta, and spending time with her friends and family.
Sanchez is survived by her husband, Tony; a daughter, Crystal Gayle Sanchez, of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Robert Anthony (Emily) Sanchez, of Arlington, Va., and Richard Thomas Sanchez, of New York City, N.Y.; a step-son, Jose Roberto (Ana Marina) Sanchez, of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Joseph (Susana) Tudda, of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Mark (Ellen) Tudda, of Bayside, N.Y.; and two sisters, Faye (Michael) Catanzaro, of East Wakefield, N.H., and Susie (Bernie) Feuer, of Mt. Pleasant; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
