Van Buren boys 10-run Harmony at home
KEOSAUQUA ? The Van Buren baseball team continued its tear through the SEISC south division with a 10-0 six-inning win vs. Harmony Monday night.
Jory Heckenberg allowed just two hits and struck out 11 in the shutout victory. Chris Wilson was 2-3, Michael Boyd was 2-4 and Lewis Russell tallied four stolen bases for the Warriors. Wilson had two RBI and Boyd drove in four.

Van Buren will host Holy Trinity tonight with the JV game set to start at 6 p.m.
Comets rally past Danville, stay undefeated
DANVILLE ? After a seventh-inning rally gave them a 6-4 win over New London last week, the Cardinal softball team scored four times with only one out left to take a 7-6 win against Danville Monday to remain perfect in conference games.
Pinch-hitter Laci Moore hit the game winning single down the left field line to plate the winning run. Felisha Durflinger and Lindsey Moore each smacked a home run while Durflinger earned the win from the mound pitching seven innings with one strikeout.
With the top spot in the conference standings once again at stake, the Comets will host fifth-ranked New London Wednesday night.
Warriors pick up victory vs. Harmony
FARMINGTON ? Jierra Woods, Kali Johnson and Mackenzie Zeitler all hit doubles to help Van Buren to a 5-2 win vs. Harmony Monday night.
Jessica Sanders struck out 10 and gave up three hits and two unearned runs in 5 1/3 innings of work to take the win. Savannah Birch got the save fanning three in 1 2/3 innings.
