Area fire departments battle bin fire in Wayland
At least three fire departments were fighting a corn bin fire this morning at the Agri-Way Partners on Highway 78 in Wayland.
According to unofficial reports, the fire began at approximately 6:15 a.m.today in a large grain bin.

At least three fire departments were fighting a corn bin fire this morning at the Agri-Way Partners on Highway 78 in Wayland.
According to unofficial reports, the fire began at approximately 6:15 a.m.today in a large grain bin.
A Wayland city official said fire departments from Wayland, Washington and Crawfordsville responded. Workers and fire-fighters were attempting to empty the large bin to contain the fire as of late this morning.
Attempts to reach company officials were unsuccessful because Agri-Way Partners employees were helping remove corn from the bin.
