Area cross country teams dive into action this week as Van Buren hosts its home invitational tonight at Riverview Country Club. Joining the Warriors will be Cardinal and Fairfield.
Middle school races will get underway at 4:30 p.m. with JV and varsity to follow.
Pekin is also hosting a home meet at Lake Keomah this evening.

Area cross country teams dive into action this week as Van Buren hosts its home invitational tonight at Riverview Country Club. Joining the Warriors will be Cardinal and Fairfield.
Middle school races will get underway at 4:30 p.m. with JV and varsity to follow.
Pekin is also hosting a home meet at Lake Keomah this evening.
The events all lead into the Fairfield Invitational scheduled for Thursday at Waterworks Park. Pekin and Cardinal along with a host of other top-flight competition will be in attendance.
