Arlo L. Sauer, 84, of Hedrick, died at 10:17 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Dar Eckley officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the family present from 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Keokuk County

Mr. Sauer was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Farson, the son of Harry and Anna Hagen Sauer. He married Deloris Burns Feb. 3, 1946.
