Armed duo hits Comfort Stay in Mt. Pleasant

MT. PLEASANT - An armed duo robbed and burglarized a room at the Comfort Stay in the early morning hours of Friday, Nov. 8 before stealing a vehicle.

Law enforcement were notified of the incident at 5:54 a.m. and were able to locate both the vehicle and weapons.

According to a news release from Mt. Pleasant's Police Department, a male subject and female subject entered room 42 at the motel, which was occupied by two residents at the time of the incident. Both suspects were armed with weapons and took 'the vehicle belonging to the male victim” as they left the scene. The vehicle as well as two weapons matching the description provided to police were later located.

The police have currently identified five persons of interest in relation to the investigation: Shianne Timm and Devin Hager, whose addresses are unknown, Kelsey Williams and De'Von Centrel Young of either Fairfield or Burlington and Megan French of Fairfield and Burlington.
