Ashton plays first college basketball game
Mt. Pleasant?s Jordan Ashton played in his first collegiate basketball game on Sunday for the NCAA DII Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats.
The Bearcats defeated Graceland University of Lamoni by a score of 95-57 in the exhibition contest.
As a redshirt freshman, Ashton played nine minutes and went 2-for-4 from the field for a total of five points. He had two assists and one defensive rebound.

The Bearcats will travel to Marshall, Minnesota this weekend to play in a tournament at Southwest Minnesota State. They will face Upper Iowa on Saturday and Southwest Minnesota State on Sunday.
