Asphalt work to begin Friday
Norris Asphalt Paving plans to begin the hot asphalt overlay on Burlington Avenue from 32nd to 20th streets Friday.
Plans are for Norris to lay asphalt Friday, Saturday and Monday, weather permitting. A pilot car will operate while Norris lays fabric on the existing surface prior to the asphalt being placed.
Subject to weather conditions the intersection of 23rd Street will be closed from 9 p.m. today until 7 a.m.

Subject to weather conditions the intersection of 23rd Street will be closed from 9 p.m. today until 7 a.m. Friday for patching.
Patching should be completed up to Ninth Street this week.
Milling of surface asphalt will occur from Sixth Street to B Street early next week.
