My father has always been into horror movies and books. As his daughter he has passed down this love to me. One of my all-time favorite horror authors is Stephen King. The first book I read of his was Misery and I quickly fell down the rabbit hole. I discovered my current favorite book, Mr. Mercedes, when rifling through my father's collection. Mr. Mercedes is about retired cop named Bill Hodges who is struggling to deal with a mass killing that happened months ago. The killer had gotten away. Bill awakes from his depression in order to find the murderer and bring him to justice.
