Automatic birdbath

Two of George Sales? hobbies go hand in hand ? sort of. George and his wife Marge like to watch the birds. They have feeders and a couple of places for them to get water. Marge was filling the birdbath twice a day these hot days, so George used his other hobby of inventing useful gadgets to rig up an automatic birdbath. As he demonstrated how it works, Sales explained how using a toilet float and other miscellaneous small parts, some tubing and a 5 gallon bucket as a reservoir, he now has a birdbath that fills automatically as the birds splash it out. ?That makes it all worth it,? he said, as a sparrow came to drink. ?They will be flocking to it tonight, and I won?t have to worry about filling it back up.?
