This two-hour interactive program runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is geared towards two to four year olds.
Families will meet at Starr's Cave Nature Center for lunch. Then Des Moines county Conservation Naturalist Elizabeth Kling will lead the program, which will include a craft, story, hike and hands-on educational activities all about autumn animals.
There is a fee per child due at the time of the program. Participants should bring their own sack lunch and beverages. Please dress appropriately, as many activities will take place outside.
Register by calling 319-753-5808. There are a limited number of spots available. This will be the last parent-tot program for 2011.
