The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards banquet Thursday at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. The evening honors the people and companies that have made Fairfield and the surrounding area a great place to live. The event is also a graduation ceremony of sorts for the participants of Leadership Fairfield, an eight-month program in which members hear from expert presenters, panels of community leaders and take behind-the-scene tours of Fairfield businesses.
