Members of the Mt. Pleasant Lions Club hosted a ?Back to School Family Picnic? Tuesday evening in Mt. Pleasant?s Central Park. Members of the Mt. Pleasant Lions Club hosted a ?Back to School Family Picnic? Tuesday evening in Mt. Pleasant?s Central Park. The picnic was open to all community residents and over 500 people attended the event. In the top photo, Lion Tracy Hudson serves hot dogs. The event also featured a ?bouncy castle,? donated by Mt. Pleasant School District principals. Lion member Dr. Cory Ellerbroek served as the ?keeper of the castle.? Partners for the Lions Club in the event were Great Western Bank, Hy-Vee, Z?s, Walmart and Frito Lay.
