Adam Gevock lifts a bale from the baler pulled by his dad Phil Gevock, while brother Aaron steps up to take the next bale out of the chute. While baling hay is never a cool job, Saturday, when the Gevocks were baling, was in contention for the hottest day of the year. The thermometer reading was 91 degrees when this photo was taken around 3 p.m. There was very little breeze and humidity was high. This week is going to be extremely uncomfortable and will be in the danger zone with heat indexes hovering around 115 degrees. If you must be in the heat, take frequent breaks and drink a lot of water.
