Maasdam Barns in Fairfield will host the 2021 Barnyard Bash on Friday, Aug. 27.
The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend the event, a celebration of the area’s rich agriculture community.
The 2021 Barnyard Bash is presented by Pilot Grove Savings Bank and Jefferson County Farm Bureau. This family-friendly evening will engage the entire community through entertainment such as live music from the Harvest Band, which will perform from 6-9 p.m.
Other entertainment begins at 5 p.m. including area businesses with agriculture-related booths and activities. Bounce houses, a tractor-cade, horse-drawn wagon rides, and many more displays and demonstrations will take place throughout the evening.
Food will be available at the event for purchase. The Jefferson County Cattlemen's Association and the Pork Producers will have meals available (sandwiches, chips, bottled water and cookie).
Those interested in hosting a booth or learning more about the Barnyard Bash may contact the chamber at 641-472-2111 or Info@FairfieldIowa.com.
Members of the Conilogue family such as youngsters Coen and Vivian, and their parents Dana and Adam, feed the Angora goat at the Heart for Hooves petting zoo, one of the booths at the Maasdam Barns Barnyard Bash in 2019. This year’s Barnyard Bash will be Friday, Aug. 27.
